Randy "Macho Man" Savage
Overview
Randy Savage is one of the greatest pro wrestlers/brawlers ever. His matches were entertaining, drew money, and were memorable, usually for all the right reasons. Savage has mainly worked for his fathers promotion, Memphis (CWA), WWF and WCW. He is not as active in the ring as he once was, however, always puts out a good effort. One of Savage's major accomplishments has to include "getting over" other talents, such as DDP.

Randy "Macho Man" Savage is one of the greatest superstars to grace
the world of Sports Entertainment. Whether he was a bay-face or a heel, Savage
always turned it up 110%. His heart and soul went into each and every match.
Savage's first big break in pro wrestling came at Wrestlemania 2 when he beat and battered that idiot George "The Animal" Steel. Savage dominated the majority of the match, eventually putting Steele away with his deadly Elbow Smash From the top rope.
Savage's greatest match of all came one year later at Wrestlemania 3 when he defended his Intercontental Championship against Ricky " The Dragon" Steamboat. Savage had the match in the bag when that idiot Steele interfered and cost Savage the match and his championship belt.
At Wrestlemania 4, Savage outlasted Butch Reed, Greg "The Hammer" Valentine, The One Man Gang, and Ted Dibiase to win the WWF World Title.
Sadly, Savage's run as Champ ended one year
later at Wrestlemania 5 to Savage's one-time best friend, Hulk Hogan.
Wrestlemania 6 was just a big clown showcase where Randy had a (slightly) boring
feud with Dusty Rhodes.
Wrestlemania 7 saw the (temporary) end of Randy's career as he fell at the feet
of The Ultimate Warrior.
Savage surprised everyone when he returned to defend the honor of Miss Elizabeth in a feud with the great Jake "The Snake' Roberts.
From there, Savage added more and more names under his belt in the WWF and WCW. Some names like Ric Flair, Kevin Sullivan, John Tenta (Earthquake), Sting, DDP, and Kevin Nash were just a few that were put under his belt.
Randy Savage will always be remembered as one of the greatest of all time. Maybe
Randy will resurface in the WWE and continue to entertain his fans.

July 2002: Randy Savage played Bonesaw McGraw in Sam Raimi's version of Spider-Man.
Feb 2000: Savage may be on the next WWA tour of Asia, including Australia! (he didn't)
2000: It appears Savage will not wrestle again in the near future, if ever again. Savage last wrestled in WCW in 1999. Savage is unable to get the huge contracts his once demanded.
