In a magnificent three hour show, covering three decades of live rock and featuring over 30 of Australia’s best selling artists from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s the birth of Australian rock will be recreated. Using footage sourced exclusively by the ABC for the award winning show and artists personal archive footage that has never been seen before, this multi-million dollar, multi-media, rock n’ roll spectacular is a one of a kind and will be something that no one should miss.

“I used to save my money and hitch hike around Australia just to see the Twilights, Max Merritt and Billy Thorpe perform, when I got home to Tassie my Dad was so mad that he used to pull out the strap – I did this every time they performed, I think seeing them play again will be an unbelievable dream come true” Michael Chugg AM

“To have a show that represents the birth of music is quite unique. I could not have imagined seeing all this talent performing one night, one show. Every great Australian act that I ever wanted to see singing the songs you grew up with – I think there will be a lot of laughs, tears, and flashbacks!” Kevin Jacobsen OAM

“It was raw, sweaty, dirty, unapologetic, irreverent, flamboyant, fey, bombastic, unbridled, drug and booze laced, live Aussie Rock.” Billy Thorpe
