Brookfield Fair, by Beverley Tingle
Near Chapel Hill, and Kenmore green
Is Brookfield, that is so serene
She lies like a fawn in restful
splendor
Beneath each sunset, to surrender
Each day, a petal off a rose
They come, and do, in sweet repose
Oh, Brookfield, Queen of Queensland
places
Out there in the open spaces
Never let your beauty fade
A place as green as precious jade
We'll always look to you for grace
Brookfield, such a lovely place
