Hi mate!

Thank you for the offer you made, I would be glad to help you if I can. So if there is anything you need to know about the WWF back in the 1980's, don't hesitate to drop me an e-mail. I will certainly help you if I know something to help you.

Well, things are 50:50 with old McMahon. There are a lot of guys out there who love him and a lot of boys and girls who despise him.

No wonder that guys like Hogan praise Vinnie. I mean, Hogan got rich in the WWF; he was the top shot with the federation year in and year out. Yeah, some guys even think that the Hulkster made wrestling the way it is today. I gotta disagree on that one, 'cause there are a lot of guys out there who would simply outsmart Hogan.

And let's not forget that Hogan's opponents always got him over with the crowd. And once again Paul Orndorff comes to my mind. I mean in one of their first encounters at the Big Event in Canada they drew 75.000 people watching them wrestle. So it is a fair shake to praise McMahon, 'cause Hogan never wrestled in front of those huge crowds when he left the WWF. To top all of this, he headlined Wrestlemania III along with the late André the Giant. Over 93.000 people is something that will stay in the record books forever.

So I think it is natural, that Vince and Hulk had to get along fine. Both men needed each other badly. Same thing goes for the other guys you mentioned. Everybody who got McMahon's attention in a positive way was lucky. Title belts and tons of money were on the way...

But I think the people who dislike Vince are gaining an edge right now. Look at the Bret Hart controversy or the tragic death of Owen Hart. Two examples of bad booking and stupid attitude. I mean, who the hell needs a wrestler's entrance from the ceiling of an arena??? And that's the thing I hate about today's style of wrestling. The crowd needs an extra kick, and a turn to absurdity. What I see in these days is a soap opera with no ends and boring matches. Hell, the ratings are going down, plain and simple; and McMahon has to refresh his league once again by recruiting Hogan, Nash and Hall. Let's not forget what WCW can tell us on that topic. Well, it is nothing new and it tastes like old caffee.

So today wrestling is for the younger kids who are amazed by a people's elbow and a sock stuffed in somebody's mouth. Or 26 stone-cold stunner in one match. But the real wrestling purist wants to see tough and exciting matches with good moves, (have you seen a Pile Driver or a Crucifix or a backbreaker lately?) great feuds and definitely not title changes 6 times a week.

And that's why I am a McMahon hater, because he is destroying wrestling piece by piece. I am not saying that a Jake Roberts or Paul Orndorff would be good enough in today's wrestling world, because they all had their time, but for me it is great remembering those guys who really made an impact on the wrestling scene.

And Dynamite Kid is straight all along, I mean his book is some great stuff. Here we have a man who tells it like it is, even his steroids are not a secret. Yeah, all the wrestlers back in the 80's took them and bit by bit ruined them; just like Superstar Billy Graham. I am really looking forward to his book. And Bodyslams by Gary Michael Cappetta is the best right away. I really recommend that one, because he really has something to say about the whole McMahon family. If you do not have it, check it. It is worth every penny!

Yeah, take my Muraco letter for your homepage! It is great to know that there is a mate out there who truly appreciates the glory days of wrestling. It is a pleasure writing to you!
