MR. Hennig:Did you leave WWF in good terms or bad terms?

Curt Hennig (Speaker)
I left them on great terms...as they say over there, wonderful terms.

Nikoman (Prodigy Member)
Mr. Hennig:Who do you think influenced you in wrestling the most?

Curt Hennig (Speaker)
My father, Larry Hennig.

DeGenerateBB (Prodigy Member)
What was the main reason for Mr. Perfect leaving the WWF a while back?

Curt Hennig (Speaker)
Money

Good evening Mr. Hennig and thanks for joining us. What are your thoughts on Bret Hart joining WCW and how his 14-year stay in the WWF ended? Also, thoughts on Rick Rude joining WCW?

Curt Hennig (Speaker)
I think it's great what Bret's doing. He should have done it a long time ago. I think he did the right thing. Bret Hart's a man of his word. It's good to see Rick again. We grew up together.

NeutronSTAR (Prodigy Member)
Of all the wrestlers that you have wrestled in the past, who has been your favorite to wrestle?

Curt Hennig (Speaker)
Bret Hart

NeutronSTAR (Prodigy Member)
Is there anyone who you haven't wrestled that you would like to?

Curt Hennig (Speaker)
Sting

NeutronSTAR (Prodigy Member)
What events led up to your moving to WCW, and are you enjoying it?

Curt Hennig (Speaker)
Very much so. I think everybody needs change in the weather every once in a while.

LOD4lifeNB (Prodigy Member)
Are you still in contact with Vince McMahon?

Curt Hennig (Speaker)
Not at all

Curt Hennig (Speaker)
I don't return his calls...and he calls all the time.

JPatton (Prodigy Member)
What is your opinion on the Survivor Series doublecross? How would you have reacted in a similar spot?

Curt Hennig (Speaker)
I can't tell you how I'd react. I probably wouldn't have let anyone get me in that situation, especially against Shawn Michaels...because he's a pussy.

JPatton (Prodigy Member)
What was your reaction when you heard about Brian Pillman's death?

Curt Hennig (Speaker)
Disgusted.

maddog 0 (Prodigy Member)
Why did you take time off from wrestling?

Curt Hennig (Speaker)
None of your business.

JPatton (Prodigy Member)
In your Summer Slam match with Bret Hart a few years back, how bad off was your back? Did you ever feel like that injury would force you to retire from in-ring activities permanently?

Curt Hennig (Speaker)
Yes I did. It was bad, when I tell you it was bad...it was bad.

maddog O (Prodigy Member)
What do you think of Vince McMahon?

Curt Hennig (Speaker)
I'll always have respect for Vince McMahon. I think he's the smartest man I ever met.

Curt Hennig (Speaker)
Then again...so is Eric Bischoff for hiring me.

Eggman (Prodigy Member)
In your last stay at Titan, was there any indications that is was a company that might be "in the red"? Was it a different "atmosphere" from your initital start at Titan?

Curt Hennig (Speaker)
I knew right way that the WWF was in trouble when Shawn Michaels became world champion. You would have to be a blind man not to see that.

Eggman (Prodigy Member)
OK, who can empty out a catering table faster: Dusty Rhodes or Mark Madden?

Curt Hennig (Speaker)
Who the hell cares...

xxCowboyUp (Prodigy Member)
Curt Hennig, who do you think is the best wrestler in wrestling today

Curt Hennig (Speaker)
Good question. I'd say Kevin Nash.

xxCowboyUp (Prodigy Member)
Curt Hennig, what do you think of Steve Austin

Curt Hennig (Speaker)
I think he's great.

A1 Sauce (Prodigy Member)
You clearly show that you are a natural athlete in the ring. What sports did you compete in during your school years?

Curt Hennig (Speaker)
Everything from golf to diving, football, track...soccer, wrestling...I switched every year. I went out and lettered in all of them. I lettered in more sports than anyone in the state of Minnesota.

A1 Sauce (Prodigy Member)
How did your "Mr. Perfect" persona come about? Who's idea was it? BTW, you still are absolutely PERFECT wether Vince won't let you have that tag or not.

Curt Hennig (Speaker)
Vince asked me the question, and I told him what kind of athelete I was...and he came back to me and said 'we'll call you Mr Perfect'. It was a WWF idea.

A1 Sauce (Prodigy Member)
What is your opinion of ECW? Do you see any wrestlers in that company elevating to SUPERSTAR status?

Curt Hennig (Speaker)
I never watched ECW. We don't get it where I live. I don't follow it and have never seen it.

HebnerMJD (Prodigy Member)
You left the WWF because they gave Bret Hart control, and an insane amount of money. WCW has now done the same thing... Are you going to leave?

Curt Hennig (Speaker)
That's not why I left the WWF. I left the WWF because I said I wanted to go home and live for a few years...that's all. Not many people get that opportunity.

Wrestling GD (Prodigy Member)
Curt--Of all the wrestlers in WCW, who are the few you have the most respect for?

Curt Hennig (Speaker)
Steiner Brothers.

Bret Lover (Prodigy Member)
Hi Curt, Thanks for taking time out to speak to us. What are you feelings on Vince McMahon and the Bret Hart incident?

Curt Hennig (Speaker)

Wrestling GD (Prodigy Member)
Curt--Who were you favorite wrestlers growing up as a young man?

Curt Hennig (Speaker)
I never had any real favorites. I guess I'd have to say my dad.

Bret Lover (Prodigy Member)
Curt, how would you feel about Shawn Michaels joining WCW/NWO? Do you think that would ever happen?

Curt Hennig (Speaker)
Anything can happen. He'd certainly be an asset. He's probably one of the best technicians in our sport today. He's had great teachers. The kids talented, but had great teachers on top of all that.

Bret Lover (Prodigy Member)
Curt, How do both federations differ, WCW/WWF?

Curt Hennig (Speaker)
WCW pays me more money and I have to work less days. That's the only way they differ...to me, anyway.

TUSKManson (Prodigy Member)
Do you think the Arn Anderson mockery done by Nash and co. was disrespectful or just a hilarious skit?

Curt Hennig (Speaker)
I think it was funnier than hell.

TUSKManson (Prodigy Member)
Do you feel that the current WWF programming is distasteful and vulgar?

Curt Hennig (Speaker)
I think it's disgusting. I know Vince McMahon, and that's outside the boundries of what he taught me...so I'm confused.

redrocker97 (Prodigy Member)
Curt, great to have you on with us tonight... Simple question: How's your health?? Obviously the time between leaving the WWF and joining the WCW has done a world of good, and the lesser work sched must be a blessing!!

Curt Hennig (Speaker)
My health is great. I've never felt better in my life. I think I needed those 3 years off. I dropped 27 lbs from last November, and lost it in the right places. Everything is coming back like clockwork. At first it scared me, but now I'm back.

RickRudeZach (Prodigy Member)
Mr. Hennig - What was it like to work with the Gagne family in the AWA? There have been many rumors that Verne Gagne was not exactly pleasant to be around, but he brought in the money. Are these rumors justified?

Curt Hennig (Speaker)
The Gagne's are very greedy people. I don't have a problem with people looking out for themselves...but how you treat people is how you get treated. They're bankrupt. One is a car salesman and the other is senile. I just let people ruin themselves, because the will. It sure shows with the Gagne's.

RickRudeZach (Prodigy Member)
Curt, with a lot of fans yelling "Cut-Throat Businessman" at Vince McMahon, do you think that this is a fair characterization of Vince?

Curt Hennig (Speaker)
I would say that's fair. That's what goes on in the world. Smarten up.

redrocker97 (Prodigy Member)
Curt, thanks for the Prodigy Chat... One question has to be asked: When you joined WCW what guarantee was given to you that you wouldn't end up being left without direction with all the talent in Bischoff's roster????

Curt Hennig (Speaker)
The guarantee of money that was guaranteed to me, and the talent that I have.

redrocker97 (Prodigy Member)
Curt, you've been part of the AWA, WWF, and WCW during very formidable times. You've been part of all three during their peaks. Can you explain the differences/similarities during that time... Best of luck in the nWo!!!

Curt Hennig (Speaker)
Every one was different ,and all made money. It's the ninety's now and it's a bigger show and wrestling is moving along with the times. All were different in their own way.

Was HoganSux (Prodigy Member)
Curt.. What is your most memorable match?

Curt Hennig (Speaker)
Bret Hart in Anchorage Alaska..the Sullivan Arena. It was my greatest match, I guess.

Curt Hennig (Speaker)
I guess the most memorable one might also be beating the Road Warriors in a handicap match by myself.

Curt Hennig (Speaker)
That's all the time I really have right now. I'm with Don Frye, Brad Johnson, Brad Rhenigans, and a couple of other guys, and we're about to go eat. I'll be glad to come back another time and do it again when I can stay a lot longer.
