Ace Megastar joins the AWE for the debut show
Cult favorite and insensitive hog of a man. Ace Megastar was winner of IWA worst dressed award 3 years running. He appears at the IWA desk with his silver larmay jacket, bandana, crazy sunglasses, sorry Ace, not shades, mega star eye wear. Ace Megastar is always quick with insults and rude comments. Has long running feud with commentator / manager Percy Sludge. They squabbled over the ownership of wrestlers like Frank D’ Tank, Yeti, Celtic Corpse and ruined their careers. He interrupted and stopped Frank D Tank’s wedding. Ace Megastar managed Andy Bumthorne and Angus McLoud but they both fired him. Ace Megastar claims he will always be around to commentate, to discover new wrestling talent and offer his services as a manager.
Ace Megastar is the self-proclaimed "Voice Of Reason"
of International Wrestling Australia (IWA). Primarily used as a 'mouthpiece'
character, but has been known to step into the ring on occasion (mostly because
he is too lazy to walk around it!). Ace's main IWA role is commentary, and he
has made his presence felt with the fans with his 'heel' persona. Also known
as
"The Villawood Fashion Plate", Ace has won the coveted IWA's "Worst
Dressed Wrestler" Award on two occasions. An appearance in a match at the
first 'Riot In The Roundhouse' earned Ace a "Best Debut" nomination
at the 2000 IWA Awards.
Ace has been embroiled in a legendary feud with fellow IWA commentator/manager Percy Sludge. Currently works for IWA and the newly formed AWE.
Away from wrestling, Ace also works as a musician, DJ, and is part of the children's entertainment group "Peter And Pals", which was created, written and directed by former wrestler Brian "Superfire" Cannon.
